The maximum door width for a base cabinet is 600mm. Wall cabinet width wall cabinet widths run from 9 to 48 inches in 3 inch increments though it is rare to install cabinets wider than 36 inches. Above microwave ovens a 15 to 18 inch deep cabinet is common and above a refrigerator a 24 inch deep cabinet is standard. Most freestanding ovens slide in ovens and dishwashers are designed to work with 890 mm tall base cabinets. Again wall kitchen cabinet dimensions are specified in terms of their external dimensions. Base cabinets are usually 890 mm tall 915 mm to counter top height and 600 mm deep.
